This book is super good! It's about a girl named Lily, who lives in Maine, and a girl named Salma, who is from a migrant family. They meet each other through a chance encounter involving Lily's blind dog, Lucky and Salma's lunch. Lily and Salma become good friends. Lily has a plan to save Lucky's eyesight, but no one's sure it'll work. Salma wants to enter the Blueberry Queen pageant and win! No migrant worker has ever entered the pageant before. Will Salma win? And what will that mean for the town?
