Recently, I've reread a book called The Nest by Kenneth Oppel, and I decided to put it on this blog!
Summary:
A boy named Steve gets stung by a wasp and finds out that he is allergic to wasps. There is a wasp nest right outside his house. To add to his problems, his newborn baby brother has a heart disease, and is scheduled for a surgery and is fighting to survive. One day, a mysterious queen wasp appears in Steve's dream, offering to "fix" his brother. The offer seems all right. All Steve has to do is say "yes." But the queen wasp may be up to more sinister plans...and when a yes is spoken, can it be taken back?

I would recommend this book to 9-14 year olds, it is a bit scary but it's pretty much appropriate for all ages.
